Moko Ent’s new launch ‘Store MO’ to be introduced in May

MO, a platform store specializing in the sale of products nearing their expiration date that practices the values of ESG (environment, society, governance) that saves the earth, is set to open in early May.

Starting with the opening of an online mall in early May, Store MO announced that it would change consumer culture by launching its first offline event to visit ambassadors and consumers somewhere in Seoul under the motto of 'prices that are like lies.'

Store MO is a platform specializing in products nearing expiration date. It was created to save the earth in the easiest way and to allow consumers to experience a rich life by choosing the company's products at the lowest price.

It is expected to shed its negative image as a general waste treatment and, under the goal of 'saving the planet', request cooperation from government agencies such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to provide guidance and develop into a platform where both companies and consumers can feel at ease.

Recently, domestic consumption has entered a recession amid high interest rates and high prices, and an increasing number of people, from young people in their 20s and 30s to the elderly, are complaining of economic difficulties because they cannot afford to purchase daily necessities.

The story of a young man in his 20s who sent an SOS signal to Carrot Market, a second-hand trading platform, saying, “Please share expired frozen food,” is not a story from a distant country. As the number of people in welfare blind spots increases amid the economic downturn, Store MO aims to help consumers and save the environment by informing people that the expiration date is not the expiration date and selling the company's products at low prices.

For products that cannot be transported due to logistics being blocked due to COVID-19, approximately 1 trillion won must be paid in disposal costs. Accordingly, they plan to officially announce that the expiration date is not a consumption date and encourage direct transactions between consumers and companies.

Stars also sympathized with the purpose of the store MO and rolled up their sleeves. Starting with comedian Park Soo-hong, 10 stars participate in the effort to change consumer culture.

As ambassadors for the brand store MO, they set out to change the perception of consumers and companies. Store MO said, "We will stand on the side of companies and consumers in the easiest way to save the earth," and added, "We invited Soohong Park as number 1. He is a wonderful person who has protected his image from being consumed carelessly," and expressed that it was an honor to be with them. “Also, we ask for your interest so that it can take root as a culture in which consumers choose to consume.”
