Yunjeong Jang Interested in prestigious overseas universities

MBC's entertainment show 'Fathers Who Crossed the Water' prepared a tour of prestigious British universities with Peter, a British father from King's College London. Jang Yoon-jeong, a parent, expressed her expectations by making a reservation to watch the show with her children, saying, “I will watch the broadcast with Yeon-woo and Ha-young.”

In episode 26 of 'Fathers Across the Water', which airs today (26th), British dad Peter is shown touring his alma mater, King's College London, with his son Geo and daughter Ellie.

British dad Peter reveals plans to take his children on a tour of his alma mater to commemorate his first visit to his hometown, London, England, in five years. Peter is an elite father who graduated from Queen Elizabeth, one of the top national schools in England, for middle and high school, and King's College London, a royal university. King's College London is a world-renowned university where Hopkins, Nightingale, and Alain de Botton graduated, and has produced numerous Nobel Prize winners. Jang Yoon-jeong shows interest, saying, “Tours of prestigious universities are popular among mothers these days.”

Peter's family first tours London's famous sights and then heads to King's College London on a double-decker bus, which allows sightseeing just by taking a bus. British dad Peter will provide fun to watch and listen to at the same time by sharing relevant knowledge like a tour guide whenever he passes by famous places such as Trafalgar Square, the West End, also known as London's Broadway, and Covent Garden Street.

Peter introduces, “Land is expensive in the UK, so universities are scattered here and there.” In fact, King's College had five campuses in London alone. In addition, the world-renowned university, LSE (London School of Economics), is located in the building right next to King's College London, attracting attention. British dad Peter said, “Because the two schools are close, they became rivals. “It feels like a Korean university,” he explains.

Peter then attempted a street interview to hear the opinions of LSE students. At this time, Peter encourages Ellie, who had always refused to study English, to talk to foreigners. Attention is focused on whether Ellie, who has started learning English in the UK, will show off her English skills that she has been keeping secret.

Also, Peter is walking with his children to school for the first time in 19 years, which he used to walk every day. Above all, it is said that he feels touched while taking pictures with his children at a place considered to be a photo zone at King's College London, making people curious about what it is like. Geo and Ellie are expected to attract attention as they gradually show interest in their father's school while touring prestigious universities.

While watching the tour of the prestigious university with her British father Peter, a graduate of King's College London, Jang Yoon-jung said, “I think it would be very important for the children to tour the school. “It’s motivating,” he said. “On the day it airs, Yeonwoo and Hayoung won't let me sleep and I'll watch it with them,” he said, making a reservation to watch the show together with his children.

Kim Na-young said, “I feel like I want to go to college again,” raising expectations for the broadcast.

The tour of a prestigious British university with Peter's family, a British father from King's College London, can be seen on 'Fathers Across the Water', which airs at 9:10 pm on this day.
