MBC Sports Plus announcer Kim Seon-shin deleted a social media post while embroiled in controversy over illegal driving.
On the 2nd, announcer Kim Seon-shin posted a photo with the message, "I heard a bang and thought what did I do, but the side mirror was smashed into a parking pillar and smashed." He added, "The left side mirror was such a precious thing... I sacrificed my life to drive on Gangbyeonbuk-ro haha. I changed lanes...ㅠㅠ."
The released photo shows a broken left side mirror. This means that announcer Kim Seon-shin violated Article 48, Paragraph 1 of the Road Traffic Act.
According to Article 48, Paragraph 1 of the Road Traffic Act, the driver of any car or streetcar must accurately operate the steering, braking, and other devices of the car or streetcar, and must take into account the traffic conditions on the road and the structure and performance of the car or streetcar. It is clearly stated that you must not drive at a speed or in a manner that poses danger or harm to others. If you violate this, you will be subject to a fine of up to 200,000 won, detention, or fine.
