Sangjin Han "I looked back on my married life"

Han Sang-jin, a married man of 20 years who joined the entertainment show 'How's Your Marriage (hereinafter referred to as Party Gyeol-an)', which is a final examination of marital relationships co-produced by SBS Plus and TRA Media, as a new 'husband's senior', said, "After being confirmed to appear, I looked back on my married life. “It made me think a lot while watching,” he said honestly.

In the second episode of 'Party Resolution', which will be aired for the first time on the 18th, Han Sang-jin does not just watch the VCR, but directly listens to the stories of couples in the dormitory. He said, “The most important thing between a couple is trust in each other,” and gave advice worthy of a “grand senior,” saying, “We need to practice a little consideration and communicate with each other.” The following is a Q&A with ‘sincere MC’ Han Sang-jin.

Q. How did you feel when you received the offer to appear in ‘Party Resolution’?
A. I thought it had come (laughter). As a first-generation viewer, I was emotionally immersed in the show, so when the offer came, I immediately said 'OK'. But later, as I looked back on my own marriage, I started thinking a lot.

Q. As a loyal listener, I am curious as to how you felt about ‘Party Resolution’.
A. I felt that most conflicts between couples start with a small issue and then become more severe over a completely different issue without even knowing why the conflict occurred. In the end, I think trusting each other is important.

Q. I think ‘Party Resolution’ is ultimately a program for couples to live well together. What do you think is the most important thing for a couple (or man and woman) to live well?
A. I think we need to practice a little consideration and communicate with each other. However, I think that both the giver and the receiver need to make an effort. Marriage between a couple is not the end of the fruition of love, so we must think of it as an ongoing process and look at the other person's strengths in a big way and their weaknesses in a small way. It is especially important to speak nicely. I believe that in order for marriage to become a sanctuary and comfort, it must be accompanied by consideration of language.

Q. What do you think are your special strengths as the MC of ‘Party Resolution’?
A. Rather than focusing on special features, I am always curious about people’s minds. I have the ability to empathize and think, ‘Why did they do that?’ and ‘What would it be like if it were me?’ That is helpful as a facilitator of ‘party resolution’.

Q. What kind of collaboration do you expect with the other MCs (Park Eun-hye, Jeong Hyeok) of ‘Party Resolution’?
A. I feel comfortable with Park Eun-hye because we have been friends for a long time and have worked together on long projects together. However, since the relationship was that of 'queen and subject' in the previous work, I think it will be okay to continue to serve him. Jeong Hyeok sometimes seems more adult than me, so I was impressed when he elicited sympathy from the cast. First of all, I am grateful that both of them accepted me well without any territoriality. I think I'll have to buy the two MCs a big meal.

Q. Is there anything you would like to say to the viewers of ‘Party Resolution’?
A. It is full of stories about life regardless of whether one is married or not. I hope that viewers will not limit it to married life, but will look at it as a story of life.

The performance of 'sincere MC' Han Sang-jin will be revealed in 'Party Resolution', which will be broadcast for the first time on SBS Plus and SmileTV Plus at 10 pm on Tuesday the 18th.
