Actor Song Joong-ki's noir film 'Hwaran' (directed by Kim Chang-hoon) was officially invited to the 76th Cannes International Film Festival.
According to the Cannes International Film Festival Secretariat on the 13th (Korean time), 'The Hwaran' was invited to the Un Certain Regard section of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival.
'Hwaran' is a noir drama that unfolds as Yeon-gyu, a boy who wants to escape from the hellish reality, meets Chi-geon, the middle boss of an organization, and joins him in a dangerous world.
Hong Sa-bin takes on the role of the boy Yeon-gyu. Yeon-gyu is an 18-year-old who jumps into the rough world of adults to escape from his miserable and dark reality.
Song Joong-ki plays Chi-Geon. Cheegan is the middle boss of the organization who trusts and leads Yeon-gyu.
Meanwhile, the 76th Cannes International Film Festival will be held in Cannes, France from May 16th to 27th.
