Lim Young-woong’s professional soccer halftime video exceeds 2 million views

Singer Lim Young-woong's professional soccer halftime performance is reaching a peak in popularity, exceeding 2 million views on YouTube.

The video of 'Lim Young-woong FC Seoul Halftime Performance Full Version (HERO & After LIKE)', which was released on FC Seoul's official YouTube channel on April 9, exceeded 2 million views on April 13.

The video shows Lim Young-woong, who appeared as a celebrant at the professional soccer K-League match between FC Seoul and Daegu FC held at Seoul World Cup Stadium on April 8, performing at halftime.

Following his song 'HERO', Lim Young-woong perfectly performed the point choreography of popular girl group Ive's 'After LIKE' performance, drawing enthusiastic cheers. Lim Young-woong especially added praise for planting soccer shoes to protect the grass and performing.

In particular, 45,007 spectators gathered that day. This is the highest attendance record since the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also the first record in K League history in about 7 years, following the Seoul-Suwon match (47,899 people) held at Seoul World Cup Stadium in June 2016.

In addition, most of Lim Young-woong's fans actually stayed until after the game was over, and when they left the stadium, they cleaned up their surroundings, including their own trash, before leaving. Accordingly, one soccer fan surprised the fans by sharing a photo of the audience seats neatly organized without any trash, saying on an online community, "Please follow the etiquette for watching soccer, and fans should even clean up the backs of their seats.. . that's great."
