Lee Je-hoon shared the story behind Namgoong Min's special appearance in 'Model Taxi 2'.
On the 17th, I met actor Lee Je-hoon, who appeared in SBS's 'Model Taxi 2', at a cafe in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. Lee Je-hoon played the role of Kim Do-gi, a Rainbow Transportation taxi driver who was a former military officer and special forces officer.
'Model Taxi 2' is a private revenge drama in which a mysterious taxi company, Rainbow Transportation, and taxi driver Kim Do-gi complete revenge on behalf of wronged victims. It ended on the 15th with a viewer rating of 21.0%.
In 'Model Taxi 2', several actors including Kim So-yeon, Moon Chae-won, and Namgoong Min made special appearances to add to the fun. Among them, Namgoong Min attracted attention by appearing in 'Model Taxi 2' just like Cheon Ji-hoon, the 'natural character' from the SBS drama 'The Thousand Won Lawyer'. Lee Je-hoon also made a special appearance on 'The Thousand Won Lawyer'. The two people did a 'cameo match'.
Lee Je-hoon said, "At the time, while I was filming 'The Thousand Won Lawyer', senior Namgoong Min accidentally called me. He asked if I could appear for a short appearance. I was also in the middle of filming 'Model Taxi 2'. I didn't know if my schedule was available. The moment I thought about it, I thought about what it would be like if I appeared on 'The Thousand Won Lawyer' and my brother appeared on 'Model Taxi 2. ' I immediately counter-offered and he said, 'I should be the one.' I thought it was a good idea," he recalled at the time. He continued, "After I personally received a promise that I would appear in 'The Thousand Won Lawyer' and my brother would appear in 'Model Taxi 2,' I told the director, writer, and director. They said that if they had the opportunity, they would be happy to appear in it.” He said, "Actually, the episode that the writer and director had in mind was not the medical accident episode in episode 9, but the Black Sun episode in episodes 11 to 14. Instead, they said it would be fun to appear in the role. of Cheon-byeon. So that the writer can blend into the story in a fun and cool way. “Thank you for writing it,” he added.
When asked if he created the world view of the SBS drama, Lee Je-hoon was embarrassed and said, “That's not all.” He continued, "I was happy that the picture was drawn that way and people talked about it that way. It's amazing that the characters can be shared through the SBS drama worldview."
