'How's Your Marriage 2' MC Park Eun-hye chose 'honest conversation' as a condition for a couple's happiness.
On the 17th, an online production presentation was held for the SBS Plus entertainment show 'How's Your Marriage?' (hereinafter referred to as 'Party Resolution 2'). MCs Park Eun-hye, Han Sang-jin, Jeong Hyeok and SBS Plus production team leader Lee Yang-hwa attended.
‘Single Mom’ Park Eun-hye and ‘Unmarried Man’ Jeong Hyeok, who served as MCs from the first season, will be together for the second season. Here, Han Sang-jin, a ‘married man of 20 years’, was newly introduced. In the first season, the MCs watched the couples' camp in the studio through a VCR, but from the second season, they directly visited the camp site to interact more deeply and provide solutions.
‘Danggyeolan 2’ features three couples who are facing a red light in their marriage. The 'red couple' met in January 2019 and married in August of that year, but filed for divorce in December of last year and reached the threshold of separation. The wife is dissatisfied with her husband's interference and contact so severe that she is suspected of being suspicious of him, and the husband is dissatisfied with his wife's verbal abuse. The 'Blue Couple' is a couple who have been married for 14 years and run a chicken restaurant together, and they are experiencing problems with habitual communication breakdown and inability to communicate. The wife is tired of her husband's skinship that is instinctive and not affectionate, and the husband is disappointed that his wife does not approach him first. The 'Yellow Couple', who have been married for 4 years, decided to appear in the second season of 'Party Resolution' following MBC's 'Marriage Hell' with the feeling that they were about to make the 'last choice'. The two, who were also called the 'fire and water couple', continue to clash with the wife, who is helpless in everything, and the husband, who is so angry at his wife that he goes to extremes.
Regarding ways to make a married life smooth, Park Eun-hye said, “Although organized conversation is important, I thought it would be good to have time for honest conversation even if we fight sometimes.” He continued, “There are couples around me who fight every day, but they live happily. “I think it’s important to talk honestly, regardless of whether there is a fight or not,” he emphasized.
Han Sang-jin said, “When I think about the 0th priority of a couple’s happiness, I wonder what it is, but while filming, I think of it as frequency, not density. You can say 'thank you' and 'I love you' to your wife and husband every day, but if you don't, the couple becomes disappointed and seems to move on to another problem. At the same time, the isthmus problem seems to be becoming bigger. “I think it would be better to say ‘I’m sorry,’ ‘I love you,’ and ‘I’m proud of you’ to the person next to me,” he confessed. Jeong Hyeok said, “If I get married, I think it will be a ‘conversation’.”
