Actor Lee Do-hyun revealed that he cries every time he films a project.
On the 19th, Esquire magazine released Lee Do-hyun's pictorial that decorated the cover and page of the May issue. Lee Do-hyun showed off his unique charm during filming in a rough outdoor setting reminiscent of the surface of an alien planet.
When asked, "Is there something you really want to do well but can't do?" Lee Do-hyun answered, "I can't do it every time I work on it. (It's frustrating) I cry once every time I work on it." He continued, "Even though I practiced until 5 a.m. the previous day, I cried out of frustration because I couldn't say my lines properly on the first filming set. I told this to senior Ra Mi-ran, and he said, 'In times like that, you should just rest and not think about anything.' (My feelings) "It was only then that I realized that if I held on too tightly, it would explode. I learned from senior Ra Mi-ran that I had to loosen it and gently hold it again to catch it," he added.
Lee Do-hyun will work with Ra Mi-ran in JTBC's 'Bad Mom', which will be aired for the first time on the 26th. Lee Do-hyun said, “Senior Ra Mi-ran told me to call her ‘noona’ in private, but I keep calling her ‘mom.’ Even after filming is over, I still call her ‘mom.’ I learned a lot from her while filming.”
'Bad Mom' is a touching healing comedy about mother Young-soon (played by Ra Mi-ran), who had no choice but to become a stubbornly bad mother for her child, and her son Kang-ho (played by Lee Do-hyun), who became a child in an unexpected accident, and find the happiness they lost. Kang-ho, a cold-blooded prosecutor who only pursues success while ignoring his mother, is turned into a child due to an unexpected accident and begins a new life with a bad mother.
Lee Do-hyun said, "I think there will be an appeal in the contrast between the cold image that Kang-ho shows during his time as a prosecutor and the fresh appearance that Kang-ho shows when he returns to his childhood. The story of a mother and son, the story of the people of Jouri village, and the story of Kang-ho and his friends. “It will be interesting from beginning to end without ever being boring,” he said.
