Actor Lim Ji-ho confirmed his appearance in the drama 'The Nine-Tailed Fox 1938'.
According to her agency Big Boss Entertainment on the 19th, Lim Ji-ho will appear in tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938'. 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed Fox 1938' is a K-fantasy action drama in which Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook), a nine-tailed fox who crash-landed in the chaotic era of 1938, tries to return to modern times.
Lim Ji-ho plays the role of Akira Saito, an agent of the Security Department of the Government General's Police Bureau, who is filled with the spirit of a samurai. He is expected to inject tension into the play as a monster disguised as a person with a stocky physique and intense eyes.
Starting with the 2014 independent film ‘Hwangjjing and the Coachman’, he played leading roles in a number of independent films including ‘Socialphobia’, ‘Nogari’, and ‘On Tact’. In particular, he played Kim Jin-il, a double-faced villain of all time, in the 2022 drama 'Cheer Up'.
Lim Ji-ho is expected to show new charms through various genres and characters with different personalities and charms, starting with the drama 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed Fox 1938' and the movie 'Sprinter', which is scheduled to be released in May.
Meanwhile, 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed Fox 1938', in which Lim Ji-ho appears, will premiere on May 6.
