Hwang Chi-yeol reappointed as honorary ambassador for Korean tourism

Singer Hwang Chi-yeol was reappointed as an honorary ambassador for Korean tourism.

On the afternoon of the 19th, while the barrier-free tourism promotional event 'Tour4all' was held at Seoul Hiker Ground to mark the Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Korea Tourism Organization re-appointed Hwang Chi-yeol as an honorary ambassador.

Previously, Hwang Chi-yeol was appointed as a public relations ambassador for the Korea Tourism Organization in 2018 and successfully played a leading role in promoting Korea to the world by 2020. This appointment was made in recognition of Hwang Chi-yeol's consistent influence on tourism-vulnerable groups, including the disabled, and his appearance in various videos and events to promote barrier-free open tourist destinations.

Recently, as the return to daily life without masks has progressed, more people are enjoying travel, and as foreign tourists are also beginning to visit Korea, Hwang Chi-yeol and the Korea Tourism Organization have joined hands once again.

Hwang Chi-yeol expressed his thoughts, saying, "I hope that an environment where anyone can travel conveniently and safely will be created in the future. I will do my best to promote Korean tourism, including barrier-free tourism."
