'AOMG member' Ugly Duck sent to prosecution on charges of injury


Rapper and DJ Ugly Duck (real name Seon Joo-kyung) from the hip-hop label AOMG was sent to the prosecution on charges of causing injury.

According to the police on the 24th, Gangnam Police Station in Seoul sent Ugly Duck to the prosecution on the 15th on charges of causing injury. Ugly Duck is accused of assaulting Mr. A several times at a club in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 1 am on the 10th of last month.

The police said, "The suspicion of injury was confirmed through the victim's medical certificate and related statements, and the case was sent."

In relation to this, the agency AOMG announced, "There are some facts that are different from the facts regarding the Ugly Duck Club assault incident," and "we plan to explain this through a future investigation."

This is the second time Ugly Duck has been involved in an assault controversy. Previously, on December 10, 2017, he hit Mr. B, who works as a DJ, at a bar in Itaewon-dong, Seoul, causing two weeks of injury.
