Kim Sun-ah, from sexual assault victim to lawyer

Oh Yoon-ah, who was accused of being a murderer, appeared for the first time in 10 years.

The first episode of Channel A's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Queen of Masks', which aired for the first time on the 24th, depicted the build-up to revenge for Do Jae-i (played by Kim Seon-ah), who was violated by a masked man 10 years ago.

The broadcast on this day began with Do Jae-i's heavy voice introducing Joo Yoo-jeong (played by Shin Eun-jeong), Go Yoo-na (played by Oh Yoon-ah), and Yoon Hae-mi (played by Yoo Seon), who were preparing for a bridal shower in a mysterious atmosphere. The story unfolds 10 years ago, the beginning of the incident, with a meaningful monologue saying, "Our friendship was perfect. That day, until that happened."

The incident that completely changed the lives of the four ‘Masked Queens’ occurred in suite room 2401 on the night of Joo Yoo-jeong’s bridal shower. Joo Yu-jeong, the only daughter of the Youngwoon Cultural Foundation who dreamed of a perfect family, immediately accepted the proposal of her fiancé Ki Do-sik (played by Jo Tae-gwan). Do Jae-i, who happened to discover a text message sent by Ki Do-sik to Yoo Yoo-na, became suspicious of the relationship between the two, and after questioning him, he learned that Joo Yoo-jeong's fiancé, Ki-do-sik, was a drug criminal.

The next day, Joo Yoo-jeong's fiancé and National Assemblyman Ki Yun-cheol's son Do-sik was found murdered in room 2401. Do Jae-i, Go Yoo-na, Joo Yu-jeong, and Yoon Hae-mi, who were at the scene on the day of the incident, were urgently arrested as possible suspects. Unlike Yoon Hae-mi, who claimed innocence, Do Jae-i, who was shaking with fear, closed her eyes tightly at the evidence bag and scene photos handed out by the police. At that moment, Go Yoo-na was revealed to be the real culprit of the murder, and she was taken to the police while her friends looked away coldly.

It was revealed that on the night that Ki Do-sik was murdered, Do Jae-i, who visited room 2401, was sexually assaulted by a man wearing a mask with an A mark on it. Curiosity about who the real killer of Ki Do-sik was and about the masked man who violated Do Jae-yi arose. Nine years have passed since then. Meanwhile, Joo Yoo-jeong, who became the chairman of the foundation, was about to marry Song Je-hyuk (played by Lee Jeong-jin), and Yoon Hae-mi found stability by marrying Chareo (played by Shin Ji-hoon), a former host bar frequenter.

Do Jae-i, who emerged as an icon of justice by taking on cases of sexual crime victims, quickly emerged as a star lawyer who received the spotlight. Although she lives a more luxurious life than anyone else, she has only one goal. To find the culprit who raped her and take revenge. Do Jae-i dug into a sex crime case related to masks and even took on the dirty job of the Tongju Mayor's family in order to have the power to punish the criminal.

Do Jae-i, who won the case of sexual assault by the secretary of Daesoon Apparel CEO, began his full-fledged entry into politics. Do Jae-i, who was excluded from the National Assembly nomination, decided to take the position of Tongju Mayor Jeong Gu-tae (played by Kwon Tae-won), who was held by him. Do Jae-i visited Mayor Jeong and proposed that he be given the mayor's position instead of making him the Minister of Culture. He succeeded in completely resolving the slush fund risk and appointing him to the minister's position.

Do Jae-i, along with Joo Yoo-jeong and Yoon Hae-mi, planned to build a culture and arts complex on the land that Jeong Gu-tae would donate. Haemi Yoon, who was on the verge of being promoted to hotel president, drew up a blueprint by signing a donation agreement promising 10 billion won in donations for the Hanok hotel, which was the president's long-awaited project. Do Jae Yi's revenge, which seemed to be going smoothly, ended in disaster when Jeong Gu Tae (played by Jeon Jin Ki) was killed by his wife. As the establishment of the culture and arts complex was in danger of being in vain due to his death, Do Jae-i, Joo Yu-jeong, and Yoon Hae-mi were devastated, and at Jeong Gu-tae's funeral, they encountered Go Yoo-na, who was accused of being a murderer 10 years ago.
