‘Five types of narcotics detected’ Yoo Ah-in summoned for second investigation
The second summons investigation of actor Yoo Ah-in, who is suspected of drug use, is imminent.

According to the police and legal circles on the 10th, Yoo Ah-in is scheduled to appear at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit on the morning of the 11th and undergo a second summons investigation. Previously, he was first summoned and interrogated as a suspect on March 27th.

The police are continuing the investigation after discovering that Yoo Ah-in was accused of habitually taking a total of five types of drugs, including marijuana, propofol, ketamine, cocaine, and zolpidem.

Last February, the police received an analysis result from the National Institute of Forensic Science showing that four types of narcotic substances, excluding zolpidem, were detected in Yoo Ah-in's hair and urine.

Additionally, during a recent search and seizure of hospitals and clinics in Gangnam and Yongsan, Seoul, circumstances were discovered that Yoo Ah-in had been prescribed zolpidem for purposes other than treatment.

The police investigated four people around Yoo Ah-in as references, and during an additional search and seizure of his residence at the end of last month, some of them tested positive for marijuana. In addition, Yoo Ah-in's drug prescription records were discovered, and the police converted them to suspect status.

As Yoo Ah-in was being summoned for the first round of questioning for about 12 hours, he said, “I think I was mired in the wrong swamp of self-justification that my deviant actions did not harm anyone.”
