The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit will conduct a second summons investigation today (11th) on Yoo Ah-in, who is suspected of habitual use of drugs such as propofol.
Yoo Ah-in is currently accused of using five types of drugs, including propofol, marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, and zolpidem.
It has been reported that the police also captured circumstances in which Yoo Ah-in was prescribed the psychotropic drug 'zolpidem' on his behalf. Zolpidem, a treatment for adult insomnia, is classified as a narcotic, so a person can only be prescribed 10 mg per day for up to 4 weeks.
Accordingly, the police booked four people around Yoo Ah-in on charges of drug control violations and converted them to suspect status. These people are said to be writers and YouTubers who graduated from art school with whom Yoo Ah-in had a close relationship.
Previously, the police first summoned Yoo Ah-in as a suspect on March 27 and interrogated him for about 12 hours.
