Baek Jong-won, was he suffering from being in last place in sales?
tvN's 'Business Genius Baeksajang' Baek Jong-won's competitive spirit was on fire. The new menu item 'Kalguksu' begins selling and seeks to increase sales by expanding menu options. In Italy, the country of pasta, curiosity and expectations are rising as to whether Baek Jong-won's Korean-style noodle soup will captivate the taste buds of customers and lead to increased sales.

tvN's 'Business Genius Baek Sajang' (directed by Lee Woo-hyung) is a story about Baek Jong-won, Korea's best restaurant management expert, who takes on the challenge of becoming a world-class restaurant business from start-up to operation in a wasteland of Korean food. In the previous broadcast, Baek Jong-won's counterattack, who was ranked 'last in business', was depicted. We attracted customers with an aggressive promotional marketing strategy and sought to increase sales by diversifying the drink menu. In addition, in line with Naples' 'custom culture' of cooking according to the customer's taste, the main dish, stir-fried pork, was cooked and served by adjusting the spiciness and saltiness according to the customer's order. Baek Jong-won's efforts like this increased customer satisfaction, and customers began to gather at Baekbanjip, the first Korean restaurant in Naples since the prehistoric times.

In the 7th episode, which airs today (14th), Baek Jong-won works even harder to gain a competitive edge beyond escaping last place in sales. With the collaboration of Lee Jang-woo, John Park, Kwon Yuri, and genius employees, they decided that business had stabilized and decided to launch a new menu to increase sales. Looking at the released ego video, the second menu item chosen by Baek Jong-won is 'kalguksu'. Baek Jong-won's pizza with Korean-style toppings received unfavorable taste reviews. The kalguksu he ambitiously prepared with ‘Korean Kick’ stimulates curiosity as to whether this time he will be able to target the tastes of Italians who are very proud of pasta.

Meanwhile, at the end of the video, Naples soccer hero Kim Min-jae makes a surprise appearance in 'Baekban House', becoming a hot topic. Kim Min-jae of SSC Napoli played as a built-in central defender and emerged as a 'Naples hero' by leading the team to win the Serie A for the first time in 33 years. He was the first Asian player to be selected as Serie A's 'Player of the Month' and is loved by not only soccer fans but also the people of Naples.

It is no exaggeration to say that the interest and favorability of people in Naples toward Korea has increased thanks to Kim Min-jae's outstanding performance. At the production presentation held before the first airing of ‘Business Genius Baeksajang’, employees including Baek Jong-won said, “We realized Kim Min-jae’s absolute popularity in Naples.” In fact, in episode 4, when Baek Jong-won was on a field trip to select a store location, locals were caught chanting “KIM” when they saw him. Accordingly, expectations are rising as to whether his surprise visit will have a positive effect on the increase in sales of 'Baekban House'.

Episode 7 of tvN's 'Business Genius White Sands' will be aired today (14th) Sunday at 7:45 PM.
