Top 4 box office hit ‘Super Mario Bros.’ exceeds 2 million


The movie ‘Super Mario Bros.’ exceeded 2 million viewers.

According to distributor Universal Pictures on the 14th, the cumulative number of viewers for 'Super Mario Bros.' exceeded 2 million this morning, 19 days after its release. (Based on the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network)

'Super Mario Bros.' ranked in the top 4 domestic box office hits in 2023, following 'Suzume's Lockdown', 'The First Slam Dunk', and 'Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3'.

It is the first Hollywood animation released this year to exceed 2 million viewers. In addition, 'Super Mario Bros'' performance is 10 days faster than 'The First Slam Dunk'.

'Super Mario Bros' is a super adventure animation in which Mario, an ordinary plumber in New York, levels up to become Super Mario to save his younger brother Luigi, who has been kidnapped by Koopa, a villain from another world.
