According to the Box Office of the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions, from the 1st to the 3rd, 'Oppenheimer' (directed by Christopher Nolan) attracted 248,776 audiences, recording a cumulative audience of 2,774,670.

The new film 'Target' (directed by Park Hee-gon), which entered in second place, attracted 167,619 people in its first weekend of release. This figure falls somewhat short of expectations for the first weekend of release. The total cumulative number of viewers is 260,931. 'Target' is a suspenseful thriller that unfolds in the daily life of Soo-hyeon, who becomes the target of a crime through second-hand trading, and is drawing interest by depicting realistic fears that can happen to anyone.
3rd place ‘Concrete Utopia’ (Director Eom Tae-hwa) attracted 157,619 viewers and recorded a cumulative audience of 312,621. 'Concrete Utopia' is a disaster drama that tells the story of Seoul, which has been devastated by a major earthquake, with survivors gathering in the only remaining palace apartment. 'Concrete Utopia' was evaluated as both artistic and popular and was selected as a Korean film entry in the International Feature Film category at the 96th Academy Awards.
4th place is 'Sweet Sea: 7510' (director Lee Han), which is doing well, mobilizing 142,971 viewers and recording a cumulative audience of 1,117,338. 'Sweet Water: 7510' tells the story of Chi-ho (Yoo Hae-jin), a genius confectionery researcher who knows nothing but sweets, and how the taste of life changes when he meets Il-yeong (Kim Hee-seon), a worldly positive person who only knows how to go straight. 'Sweet Sea', which has gradually attracted audiences, is certain to exceed 1 million views in one day.
'Elemental' (directed by Peter Son), which broke the 7 million mark, ranked 5th with 61,765 viewers, bringing the cumulative number of viewers to 7,126,889. 'Smuggling' is a maritime crime activity in which people who make a living by salvaging daily necessities thrown into the sea are caught up in the events of their lives.
It appears that slightly fewer audiences visited the theater on the 35th weekend of 2023 than in previous years. The movie 'Six Five (6/45)', which was the most watched movie among the top 5 in the 35th week of 2022 (September 2nd to 4th) during the same period last year, attracted approximately 400,000 viewers.
