Broadcaster Hyunyoung revealed that her mother underwent artificial heart transplant surgery two years ago.
Hyunyoung's daily life was revealed on TV Chosun's 'Perfect Life', which aired on the 17th.
On this day, Hyeonyoung visited her parents’ house in Gangwon-do. He said, “My parents wanted to live in the countryside, so I came down to Hwacheon and have been staying there for 17 years. “My brother runs a pension next to it,” he said.
Hyeonyoung was seen cherishing her mother's bag, whom she had not seen in a long time. He said, “My mother carries a battery in her bag after having artificial heart surgery two years ago. It doesn't work without batteries. Because the heart also stops. So, you have to move around as one body,” he explained.
Hyeonyoung also recalled two years ago when her mother was undergoing surgery. He said, “I went to buy a gift for Mother’s Day and was really surprised to see that my mom’s lips were purple. Things started happening after I went to the hospital emergency room. “When I came out after the surgery, I had about 10 IVs on my body,” he said with tears in his eyes.
The doctor predicted a 20% chance of success for the surgery at the time. Hyeonyoung said, “That’s why I fought with the doctor. I wanted to save my mom so much and wanted to hold on to her. They told me that if I didn't have surgery, I could live for at most a year, but if the surgery was successful, I could live for the rest of my life, and it worked out well. Thank you so much. “I can do anything for you,” he said.
Hyeonyoung’s mother also recalled the time of the surgery and said, “I thought I shouldn’t die yet. My maternal grandmother appeared in my dream. He said come quickly. Mom, I still have something to do, so I waited a little. When I looked back, it was gone. “What would I have done without my youngest daughter?” she said, shedding tears.
Hyunyoung also revealed that she gave her mother a bunch of money as a gift after 'Sister's Dream' became a hit. He said, “There’s nothing I haven’t done since I was young. However, I received a lot of love for ‘Sister’s Dream’ and received payment after appearing at various events. I rolled up some cash and gave it to my mom, and she loved it. He said with joy, “He used that money to build a pavilion in front of our Hwacheon house.”
Hyeonyoung’s mother said in a video message, “My beloved youngest daughter. Mom always believes in what our youngest daughter does. Because I'm good at everything. I am so thankful that I grew up well from a young age. Even when I am reborn, I will live happily and happily as my mother's daughter. “I love you,” he said, making Hyunyoung cry.
