Yoo Ah-in, 'arrest or not' will be decided tomorrow afternoon
It is expected that a decision will be made on the afternoon of the 24th at the earliest as to whether actor Yoo Ah-in (37, real name Um Hong-shik), who is suspected of using drugs, will be arrested.

According to the legal community, chief judge Lee Min-soo in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court will interrogate the suspect before arresting Yoo Ah-in at 11 a.m. on the 24th.

According to the police, Yoo Ah-in is accused of using five types of drugs, including hemp, propofol, cocaine, ketamine, and zolpidem (violation of the Narcotic Control Act). The police believe that Yoo Ah-in has been habitually taking propofol and other narcotics since around 2020.

The police applied for an arrest warrant on the 19th, believing that the crime was serious because Yoo Ah-in denied most of the charges except for inhaling marijuana, and there were several suspected drugs. The police judged that there was a high risk of destroying evidence, considering that some of the people suspected of being his accomplices were staying abroad.
