Actor Kang Ji-seop reported on his recent situation after leaving the Christian Gospel Mission (JMS).
Kang Ji-seop posted a picture on his SNS on the 29th with the words, "Now it's really summer... No confiscation".
In the published photo, Kang Ji-seop is wearing a black man-to-man and staring at the camera. It has been about two months since leaving JMS.
In March, JMS Jung Myeong-seok's various criminal acts were revealed through the Netflix original 'I am God: People Betrayed by God'. Afterwards, the search for JMS followers continued in the entertainment industry. At that time, Kang Ji-seop drew attention because there was a portrait of Jesus used by JMS in his room.
Also, on Jung Myeong-seok's birthday, Kang Ji-seop wrote, "It's the birthday of the teacher who is my life mentor. Congratulations."
Kang Ji-seop said, "It was a place where I went to pray with a really pure heart during difficult times, and I thought it was a normal place. It came out," he said, referring to the controversy.
Despite Kang Ji-seop's explanation, the controversy continued. In response, Prof. Kim Do-hyung, chairman of Exodus, an anti-JMS group, requested, "It is true that actor Kang Ji-seop left JMS. Please stop witch hunting."
