Actor Kim Byeong-cheol revealed that he spoke in short language as part of Uhm Jung-hwa's relationship with the couple.
Recently, I had an interview with actor Kim Byeong-cheol, who I met at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at the end of the JTBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook'.
'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook', which ended on the 4th, is a work that contains the story of Cha Jeong-suk's life, from being a housewife for 20 years to becoming a resident for 1 year. In the play, Kim Byeong-cheol took on the role of Seo In-ho, the chief of colon and rectal surgery and Cha Jeong-suk's husband, and showed off his charm as a 'demonic man'. Even though he is a 'bad husband' who had a child out of wedlock with Choi Seung-hee, an adulterous woman, he managed to control the level of the play with his charm that he could not hate.
Kim Byeong-cheol, who earned the nickname 'The Devil's Man', expressed his gratitude, saying, "I think it's a positive response to my acting." When asked what kind of guy Kim Byeong-cheol was in reality, he said, "I'm a middle-aged man. Characteristics? I can't stand out."
How was the collaboration with Uhm Jung-hwa and Myung Se-bin, who formed the 'triangular composition'? Kim Byeong-cheol said, "I had to act as a married couple who lived together with Uhm Jung-hwa for a long time, so I shouldn't look awkward like that. So I usually call actor Uhm Jung-hwa my sister. ?’,” he said.
He continued, "I think the character Seung-hee is a difficult character to play. It's because viewers will only see Seung-hee when he's well-realized, and I don't think there's anything that I don't want to see in scenes with In-ho and Seung-hee. Myung Se-bin also read the script together before filming. I suggested that we try it, and we practiced personally and shared our opinions while working together. I think that helped to create good results.”
