“A bag of traditional snacks costs 70,000 won, isn’t it expensive?” '1 Night 2 Days' Yeon Jung-hoon, Kim Jong-min, Yoo Seon-ho, 'surprise' at the traditional market

Actor Yeon Jeong-hoon, singer Kim Jong-min, and Yoo Seon-ho tried to buy old snacks at a traditional market and were surprised at the high price.

On KBS2's '1 Night 2 Days Season 4', which aired on the 4th, 'Ant and Grasshopper' featured six members preparing for a feast in Hyeonri Village.

Yeon Jeong-hoon, Kim Jong-min, and Yoo Seon-ho headed to Yeongyang Public Market in North Gyeongsang Province to prepare for the feast. While looking for something to eat, Yeon Jeong-hoon came across an old snack store.

Kim Jong-min said, "Elderly people really like it," and started tasting. The three of them sampled old sweets. Then, each of them began to put sweets in an envelope. Kim Jong-min said, "Did I buy too much? Is it money?" The shop owner said, "It's not long, so what?"

Kim Jong-min asked me to measure the weight of the snacks he put in the bag. The weight of the envelope Kim Jong-min contained was 1524g, and the price per 100g was 4499 won. The price of the snack in the envelope was measured at 68,565 won. However, the store owner said, "70,000 won."

After checking the price, Kim Jong-min asked, "How much?" Yeon Jeong-hoon said, "It's too expensive?" Yoo Seon-ho said, "Wait a minute, this isn't it." Kim Jong-min said, "I'll spend all my money here." Yeon Jeong-hoon even drew an X with his hand.

The store owner has already finished packing the snacks. Kim Jong-min said, "I heard they do it for 150,000 won." After hearing this, Yeon Jeong-hoon asked, "Then we don't have any prizes. There are too many. Please set it to 100,000 won." However, the store owner refused, saying, "How much did you eat (for tasting)?" In the end, Yeon Jeong-hoon, Kim Jong-min, and Yoo Seon-ho spent 150,000 won.

After the broadcast, online communities and social media continued to point out that the store was dumping. There is a difference in the price of old snacks in each local market, but they range from 1,500 won to 2,100 won.

However, some criticize that the price is not absurd, comparing the price of old snacks sold at 4,499 won per 100g with the price of 'jelly shops', which range from the late 3,000 won to the mid-4,000 won per 100 g.
