Yang Yoseob expressed his joy to meet fans through a solo concert after 5 years.
On the 10th at 6pm, Yoseob Yang's solo concert 'BITTER SWEET' was held at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Seoul.
'Bitter Sweet' is Yang Yoseob's first solo concert in five years since 'White'. After the fan club pre-sale was opened earlier, the audience's expectations were high enough to sell out quickly.
In addition, as this concert is Yang Yoseob's first solo concert since the release of his first full-length solo album 'Chocolate Box' in 2021, a new and richer set list has been prepared. This performance consisted of three concepts in order: WHITE, MILK, and DARK. White, milk, and dark are also three versions of the regular album 'Chocolate Box'.
Yang Yo-seop said, “It’s been 5 years since my first concert ‘Back’ in 2018, and I’m seeing you all. please go have fun I had to hold a concert after the 1st regular album 'Chocolate Box', but the situation was not good at that time. There was also Corona 19,” he said sorry. Then, “Don’t you hate to say you’re sorry? I'm sorry,” he said, making fans laugh with his overflowing wit.
Yoseob Yang explained, "We prepared a concert under the name 'Bitter Sweet' to create a performance that is an extension of 'Chocolate Box'." Then, “Is it sweet? But will it be sweet?” he sent a tempting look to the audience. Yang Yoseob continued, “Isn’t there a skin color you can see right now? Until the end of the performance, only this skin color is visible. Don’t expect too much,” leaving the fans sad. To this, “Sorry. I’m also sorry,” he trembled.
Yoseob Yang said, “I want to show various tastes like the taste of bittersweet chocolate. We need your support a lot. Enjoy it from start to finish and give me a lot of energy.” Yang Yoseob looked at the fans waving their light sticks, and Yang Yoseob admired them, saying, "It's so pretty."
Regarding the opening song, Yoseob Yang said, "Since it's been a while since we've been performing, there has been an argument rather than an argument among fans over what the opening song should be. I think I will do 'Brain', the title track of 'Chocolate Box'. Or maybe I'll do 'Chocolate Box'. Did you know you could do 'Chocolate Box'?” he asked the fans. When the fans responded that they expected it to be 'Chocolate Box', Yang Yoseob said, "This is Yang Yoseob, a man who doesn't deviate much from your expectations", drawing laughter.
