In Channel A's 'Oh Eun-young's Gold Counseling Center', which airs today (16th), singer Gangnam and mother Kwon Myung-sook's mother's concerns are revealed.
The Gangnam hat appeared from the beginning, foreshadowing the hot hat war. Gangnam confesses to Dr. Oh Eun-young, "Please listen to me a lot, I have a lot to talk about." Her mother, Kwon Myeong-sook, reveals a prank anecdote in Gangnam, saying that in her childhood, so-called 'beltwi' was a basic, breaking down piles of vegetables for sale at the market, and unzipping her skirt at the airport. Also, he expresses his concern that his son, Gangnam, is not growing up even though he has been married to Lee Sang-hwa for 5 years.
After confirming her concerns, Dr. Oh Eun-young asks Gangnam if she is happy to see her mother surprised. In response, Gangnam said, "It's more happiness than fun," and says that it's scary to play with his wife, Sang-hwa Lee, and that the target of the prank is only her mother, embarrassing everyone. In response, Dr. Oh Eun-young asks her mother why she keeps playing pranks, and Gangnam, hesitant for a moment, replies, "To get revenge" on her mother, instantly freezing the atmosphere at the counseling center.
Next, Kangnam informs his mother that he was subjected to high-intensity corporal punishment by his mother when he was young, and submits photos of evidence. In response, Dr. Oh Eun-young points out that memories of corporal punishment seem to be stuck in her heart and asks her mother, Kwon Myeong-suk, why she had to punish Gangnam. Then the mother, Kwon Myung-sook, asked Dr. Oh a reverse question, saying, "What should I do if I don't hit him?" Kwon Myung-sook then reveals a dangerous anecdote, saying that Gangnam covered the side mirror while driving or clung to the back of the car she was driving, revealing her position that she had no choice but to discipline her strongly.
Also, her mother, Kwon Myeong-suk, confesses her past grievances, saying, “It was difficult because there was a lot of action in Gangnam.” He said that he was exhausted all over and suffered from a 'panic disorder' so severe that he could not get up from his seat, and he showed his hardships. In response, Dr. Oh Eun-young comforts her mother, saying that the results of the MMPI test (multifaceted personality test) showed high social sensitivity, so it would have been more difficult to raise children in Gangnam, which was a troublemaker.
Mother Kwon Myeong-sook reveals that she started her married life without knowing Japanese, and reveals a sad anecdote about taking Gangnam, who was sick, to the hospital, but had to move on her feet because she was unable to communicate with the doctor. In response, Gangnam sees her mother having a hard time with the language and mentions, “I made up my mind to learn Japanese quickly for my mother.” However, as Kangnam's Japanese skills improved, he honestly confessed that he was unable to have a deep conversation with his mother due to a language gap, revealing that there was a language barrier between mother and son.
Dr. Oh Eun-young, who heard the story of the Gangnam mother and child, analyzes that the language barrier is no different from an emotional barrier. Then, assuming that communication between mothers and fathers must have been difficult, Kangnam surprises everyone with an unexpected analysis that the only way to communicate with his mother in a fun way was 'playing'.
Dr. Oh Eun-young said that she pierces the blockage of her mother Kwon Myung-sook by revealing the reason why Gangnam was particularly restless and mischievous in her 'childhood'.
