On the 19th, at a cafe located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, I met actor Kim Min-jae and conducted an interview at the end of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3'.
The SBS 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim' series depicts the story of a 'real doctor' taking place in a poor local Doldam Hospital. In the play, Kim Min-jae took on the role of Park Eun-tak, who overcame a painful past and became a nurse, and worked together from season 1 to season 3.
Kim Min-jae said, "I have a more heartfelt heart, quite different from other seasons. It felt like the end of a long journey, and I did my best as much as that. Perhaps because I was so happy and had fun filming, I feel a lot of excitement." .
Kim Min-jae also garnered attention for his loyalty in choosing the role of Park Eun-tak, a supporting character, after turning down numerous offers for the lead role. When asked if there were any concerns about returning from the lead role to the supporting role, Kim Min-jae said, "There were many. If you choose one, you have to give up one, so there were people around you. "Nevertheless, I chose it because it was a work I wanted to run right away, and I think it was a good choice," he said.
Regarding the reason why he chose 'Department of Kim 3' even after giving up the lead role, Min-jae Kim said, "I felt like I couldn't be here without it. I think there was a sense of belonging. I thought it was a necessary work in this era, and I thought it would be nice if I could have a little influence on it."
