Actress Lim Ji-yeon mentioned Kim Tae-hee, whom she worked with in Genie TV's original 'House with a Yard'.
On the afternoon of the 19th, a production presentation for Genie TV's original drama 'House with a Yard' was held at Stanford Hotel Korea in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Tae-hee, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Seong-oh, Choi Jae-rim, and director Jung Ji-hyun attended the event.
Based on the bestseller of the same name, 'House with a Yard' is a suspense thriller about two women living completely different lives due to a strange smell coming from the backyard. This is a new work by director Jung Ji-hyun, who directed the dramas 'Enter a search term WWW' and 'Twenty Five Twenty One'.
In the play, Lim Ji-yeon plays Sang-eun. Sang-eun is a woman who dreams of escaping from a pitiful reality. Lim Ji-yeon, who played the role of school violence perpetrator Yeon-jin in the Netflix series 'The Glory', becomes a victim of domestic violence.
Lim Ji-yeon played Park Yeon-jin, a perpetrator of school violence, in the previous Netflix series 'The Glory'. In her next film, 'House with a Yard', she will return as Sang-eun, a victim of domestic violence.
On this day, Lim Ji-yeon said, "I was filming 'House with a Courtyard' before the release of my previous work. Since I was playing the role of an assailant, I wanted to play the role of a victim this time. I wanted to dig, I wanted to know. It's not revealed on the outside, but I definitely had a desire to be Sang-eun even if I was standing still. I wanted this to be mine."
Regarding his impression of working with Kim Tae-hee, he said, "There are definitely moments when I feel a sense of identity when a woman of a different color shares. A week was the same. A woman called you who doesn't know the world starts by ignoring me to know my life. I received a lot of synergy from each other on set, and I relied on my sister a lot."
Lim Ji-yeon worked with Song Hye-kyo in 'The Glory' and Kim Tae-hee in 'House with a Yard'. He said, "Actually, when I heard the news that I was cast in 'House with a Yard' and that I became senior Tae-hee in the role of Joo-ran, I honestly thought about that a little bit. I was happy. It was a happy thing. As a joke, I also want to work with senior Jun Ji-hyun if I get a chance," causing laughter.
