Kim Dong-wook, serial killer father revealed the crime... The reason for the brutal killing was 'shock'

Yoon Hae-joon (Kim Dong-wook) and Baek Yoon-young (Jin Ki-joo), who achieved all their goals in the past, met an unexpected obstacle.

In the 15th episode of KBS2's Monday & Tuesday drama, 'How I Ran into You', which aired on the 19th, the identity of the true culprit Yun Yeon-woo (Jeong Jae-kwang) was revealed, ending the 'Wujeong-ri serial murder case' that had led to terrible tragedies. The 15th viewership rating was 4.8% (provided by Nielsen Korea, based on households in the metropolitan area), ranking first in the same time slot as Monday-Tuesday dramas.

Hae-joon stopped Yeon-woo from leaving in a time machine car, and the two father-son relationship finally met face-to-face. It turns out that Yeon-woo was able to commit an unexpected crime by checking all the evidence of the 'Woojeong-ri serial murder case' that Hae-jun had collected while he was fixing the car at Hae-jun's house.

Soon, a fierce fight between the two began, and Hae-jun was overcome with anguish as he remembered himself lying down after being attacked by his father in the distant future.

As soon as Yoon-yeong heard that Yeon-woo was the real culprit, she checked the garage, and after checking the missing car, she headed straight for the tunnel. While Hae-joon and Yeon-woo were fighting fiercely, Yoon-young and Baek Dong-sik (played by Choi Young-woo) fortunately arrived, and as Yeon-woo was shot and arrested by Dong-shik, the real culprit of the 'Ujeong-ri serial murder case' was finally arrested. However, Hae-jun, who lost consciousness due to Yeon-woo's attack, did not regain consciousness, making the viewers feel sorry.

Soon, all of Yeon-woo's actions in the 'Woojeong-ri serial murder case' were revealed in detail. Yeon-woo committed the murder by faking the date of arrival, and his father, Yoon Byeong-goo (played by Kim Jong-soo), was confused because he did not believe that his son was a murderer. At this time, Yeon-woo's lover and Hae-joon's mother, Cheong-ah (played by Shin Shin-hye), appeared and handed over the evidence, saying that the handwriting in the letter she received from Yeon-woo would serve as evidence. When the police couldn't find any physical evidence at Yeon-woo's house, the investigation went through difficulties. Eventually, Byeong-gu tried to cover up the letters, and a big crisis came.

Hae-jun, who had barely regained consciousness, went to Byeong-gu and retrieved the letters from the blazing fire. Byeong-gu begged with tears, saying that it was a choice for the life of his grandson who would live with the stigma of being the son of a murderer, and Hae-jun said, “Don't make excuses. Because it is your life that you have covered everything and lived your life ignoring even your son’s son because you couldn’t bear to live comfortably,” he recalled his lonely and dark childhood.

In the end, when conclusive evidence came out, it was announced that Yeon-woo was the real culprit, and the 'Ujeong-ri serial murder case' that stirred up the world came to an end.

Hae-jun, who refused to visit Yeon-woo, heard from him about the motive for the murder. Yeon-woo fell in love with reading and resented her mother for abandoning her, saying 'I don't want to live as someone's mother'.

However, it was revealed that he, a brutal murderer, felt true love for Cheong-ah, and Hae-joon confessed his true identity, resenting his father for abandoning his dream of forming an eternal family with his own hands. Hae-joon, who has lived a completely changed life due to his father's wrong feelings and choices, left a lingering aftertaste in the small screen as he broke the bridle of the tragedy with his own hands.

At the end of the broadcast, Hae-joon and Yoon-young, who were trying to solve all the cases and leave in search of a happy future, faced an unexpected difficulty. The two of them sadly said goodbye to the villagers of Ujeong-ri and prepared to leave, but the time machine did not work properly, so they could not return to 2021 and stayed in 1987. Attention is focusing on how the two people who have traveled through time with only one purpose can find the present time.

The last story of Hae-joon and Yoon-young, who stayed again in 1987, can be seen in the final episode of 'Extraordinary You', which airs at 9:45 pm on the 20th.
