Lee Chun-soo recently explained the situation at the time through a video titled 'Drunk hit-and-run + hidden cam criminal catch...

Lee Chun-soo, who was on his way home from filming, found it strange that the car was moving even though it was late at night when it was not supposed to. While passing by Olympic Boulevard near Dongjak Bridge, I noticed a man in white running from the front. Soon after, a taxi driver ran out and pointed at the man in front of him and shouted, "Catch me." When he got out of the car and asked the taxi driver what was going on, the taxi driver replied, "It was a hit and run, but he was drunk."

While the manager stopped the car, the time occurred and the driver got away from the drunk hit-and-run criminal. Lee Chun-soo said, "A drunk driver in a white suit went up to the Dongjak Bridge. I couldn't cross it right away (because it was a cliff) and went back, and there was a difference of about 300m. From there, I started running together (with the manager)." He continued, "My manager and I were going uphill, and our eyes met because it was difficult. We told each other to go quickly." He also recalled his frustration at the time, saying, "This is what a marathon is like. I was in front of it and couldn't catch it."

It is said that the victim, a taxi driver, recognized Lee Chun-soo belatedly. Lee Chun-soo said, "There was a gesture that he said thank you. It's not that, I said I can't stand injustice." Since Lee Chun-soo was 'a trouble maker in the soccer world', there was an incident where the police misunderstood Lee Chun-soo as the culprit.

Lee Chun-soo plans to donate the reward and all proceeds from the YouTube video. Donation is under discussion.

Lee Chun-soo will appear on the TV Chosun sports entertainment 'Chosun Sports Association', which will be broadcast for the first time on the 28th.
