KBS entertainment 'Hong Kim Dong-jeon' celebrated its 1st anniversary after overcoming rumors of abolition. Producer Park In-seok, who was in charge of directing, cited the cast members who were with him from the ground up as the reason why he was able to come so far despite the low ratings.
On the afternoon of the 14th, at KBS Art Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, a meeting was held to commemorate the 1st anniversary of KBS2's 'Hong Kim Dong-jeon'. Producer Park In-seok, Hong Jin-kyung, Kim Sook, Jo Se-ho, Joo Woo-jae, and 2PM Wooyoung attended. After filming in the morning, they drew attention by entering the dress code as they were dressed in makeup.
'Hong Kim Coin' is a variety show in which fate changes with the coins of Mr. Hong and Mr. Kim. Producer Park In-seok of KBS2's '1 Night 2 Days Season 3', 'Sister's Slam Dunk 1,2' and 'Guracheol' and writer Choi Eun-young of 'Battle Trip' joined forces.
On this day, PD Park In-seok said, "There are a lot of interesting programs these days. I can't believe that we've reached our 1st anniversary among multimedia and multi-programs. Thank you to the KBS officials who made this possible and to the viewers who loved and supported the program."
Producer Park In-seok credited the members for being able to reach the 1st anniversary of 'Hong Kim Dong-jeon'. He said, "Each of the members is good people. Those good people like each other. Those like people are definitely work, but they are doing more than work. It's nice to see them and never miss a laugh. Good people look The members' chemistry, which makes a lot of pleasant laughs, is their strength," he expressed his affection.
Kim Sook said, "There are people who have noticed, but the cast members of 'Hong Kim Dong-jeon' are more cumbersome here than other programs. It seems like everyone runs and plays comfortably like a playground. I am grateful to the production team for creating such an environment. Jin Kyung-i and Se-ho. These members do it. The ratings of 'Hong Kim Dong Jeon' are not rising. Except for the broadcast on November 27 last year, which recorded the highest 3%, it is maintaining the 1% range. There was even talk of repealing it. However, OTT platform wave KBS non-drama ranked first for the 14th week (as of July 11), continuing to be a topic in OTT.
At last year's KBS Entertainment Awards, 'Hong Kim Dong-jeon' was not nominated for the 'Best Program Award'. Regarding this, Kim Sook said, "I think it will be difficult to be nominated for the 'Best Program Award' at the KBS Entertainment Awards. A good program award needs to have a certain rating. With viewer ratings and OTT responses, we can go up too."
He continued, "This year, we will work harder than last year, but the reason we work hard is that there is no next episode. In this day and age, we don't know when it will disappear again. In the episode where we are together, we said to work hard. That's why the fans seem to love it. I think the fans love me even more because they feel sorry for me."
Joo Woo-jae said, "The viewership ratings for 'Hong Kim Dong-jeon' were high when Jin-kyung noona's house came out. If you give permission, if you open it a couple of times before the end of the year, I think the viewer ratings will rise enough." In response, Kim Sook asked, "I'm pushing. Will you give me the house?"
Hong Jin-kyung replied, "I haven't heard anything and I have nothing to say." Producer Park In-seok said, "Even when the music video is played after the program ends, I run it while thinking, 'Can I do something weird?' It could be the reason. There are trends and trends these days, but I will go in a direction that I don't know where to go, the fun of raw things that can only be seen when you come to see 'The Tale of Hong Kim Dong' and the strange fun that is not standardized."
