Giant Feast: Heo Kyung-hwan and Choi Hong-man's Epic Food Journey on 'Hello, I'm a Giant'
On the October 3rd episode of Comedy TV's 'Hello, I'm a Giant', Choi Hong-man and Heo Kyung-hwan embarked on a culinary journey from Suwon Ingyedong to Ganseok-dong and Gyeyang Mountain, indulging in meals that even giants would find satisfying.
Their first stop was a famous ox tripe restaurant in Suwon Ingyedong. As the recommended assorted tripe dish arrived, a fiery display showcased the freshness of the ingredients, leaving both Choi and Heo in awe, capturing the moment with photos. Choi, after tasting the tripe dipped in homemade sauce, exclaimed, "Now I understand why it's different when made fresh," expressing his admiration. Heo, after trying the unique combination of fruit and vegetables with the tripe, commented, "The homemade tripe is truly impressive," showing his satisfaction. They concluded their first meal with a delightful fried rice.
Their final destination was a health-conscious noodle house near Gyeyang Mountain. The spacious and elegant setting featured traditional Andong-style noodles with sanghwang mushrooms, passed down through two generations. Upon seeing the spread, Heo was taken aback, saying, "Isn't this a noodle house?" Choi echoed the sentiment, "This is a royal feast, isn't it?" After tasting the broth, they both agreed it was "clean and refreshing." The noodles, mixed with fermented soybean, offered a nutty and savory flavor, adding to their satisfaction. Choi was impressed by the authentic taste of the buckwheat jelly, exclaiming, "This is real jelly." They also enjoyed a generous serving of assorted pancakes made with sanghwang mushroom powder. The meal concluded heartily with beef soup.
'Hello, I'm a Giant' airs every Sunday at 11 PM on Comedy TV.
