Kang Sang-jun Shines in 'Secret Audit' as He Shakes Up the Heir War

Actor Kang Sang-jun delivers a compelling performance in 'Secret Audit'.

In episodes 3 and 4 of tvN's weekend drama 'Secret Audit', aired on the 2nd and 3rd, Kang Sang-jun's character, Jeon Seong-yeol, the second son of Haemu Group, makes a grand return to the headquarters, signaling the start of a fierce heir war. Jeon Seong-yeol captures attention right from his entrance, arriving on a large motorcycle.

His return ignites a full-blown succession battle with his brother, Vice Chairman Jeon Jae-yeol (played by Kim Jae-wook). Jeon Jae-yeol is visibly displeased with their father, Chairman Jeon Moo-tae (played by Jeon Guk-hwan), for bringing Seong-yeol back without consulting him. However, Seong-yeol surprises everyone by warmly embracing Jae-yeol in the company lobby, saying, "We'll be seeing each other often, brother," in a meaningful greeting.

Notably, Jeon Seong-yeol, with his free-spirited exterior, conceals a meticulous strategy as a communicative leader, threatening Jeon Jae-yeol's position. Immediately upon his return, he visits the audit team to greet the staff and even organizes an impromptu gathering, quickly winning over the internal sentiment.

At the gathering, Seong-yeol's social skills shine. Instead of taking the head seat, he chooses a corner where he can make eye contact with all employees, leading the atmosphere. He calls employees by their names, takes selfies with them, and shares social media accounts, instantly transforming the company's rigid atmosphere. Kang Sang-jun skillfully portrays Jeon Seong-yeol, balancing between his approachable charm and the cold charisma that shakes the succession structure.

As Kang Sang-jun emerges as a new central figure in the succession plot, his increasing influence heightens anticipation for the future developments of 'Secret Audit'. With his impactful return to the headquarters, all eyes are on how Jeon Seong-yeol will affect the unfolding events.
