Actor Koo Kyo-hwan Reflects on Hosting Challenges with Director Girlfriend Lee Ok-seop

Actor Koo Kyo-hwan reminisced about his experience as a co-host with his girlfriend, Director Lee Ok-seop, on the YouTube variety show 'Salon Drip'.

In the 137th episode of 'Salon Drip', titled 'Do You Smell Something Burning? Koo's Mouth is on Fire', Koo appeared as a guest. He recalled his stint as a guest MC during the 100th episode special, saying, "I once tried to take over here as an MC, but I failed and have returned. Please take care of me."

Koo discussed the experience with host Jang Do-yeon, expressing embarrassment over his "fleeting MC challenge". During the 100th episode, Koo and his '12-year partner' Director Lee Ok-seop co-hosted. Koo humorously blamed the failure on the "2MC problem", suggesting that balancing his performance with his inexperienced girlfriend was challenging.

Jang Do-yeon inquired about their conversation post-show. Koo recalled, "We got in the car and just sighed. It was too painful to even reflect on." He noted that Lee had her own aspirations for the show, adding, "She seemed as disappointed as I was, which shows she has ambition. But if that's the case, she should have done better." He admitted, "I should have done better too. Everything went wrong," and expressed his desire for another chance, saying, "Let's do it again by the 200th episode."

Jang reassured him, "It ended well, reaching number one in trending searches, and viewers enjoyed it." Koo concluded, "What's important is satisfaction. Even if it tops the charts, I need to be satisfied."
