Actor Go Soo's Humble Take on His Looks: 'Being Called Handsome is Just a Courtesy'
Go Soo, along with actor Lee Jong-hyuk, appeared on the show and expressed his excitement, saying, "It's an honor to see the chefs. Honestly, it feels like a dream," and added, "My refrigerator is quite simple, but I'm looking forward to it."
Known for his striking appearance, earning him the nickname 'Go-vid' (a combination of Go Soo and David), Go Soo's backstage comment, "Isn't calling me handsome just a courtesy?" caught attention.
Go Soo, who doesn't even think "I look good today" after washing his face, humorously admitted, "I used to take selfies, but I gave up. It takes 500 shots to get one good picture."
Photos from Go Soo's childhood to his college graduation were revealed, and the chefs marveled at his consistently striking looks. He shared, "My real name is Go Soo. My grandmother named me. Even if I take a break from acting, thanks to the herb cilantro (also called 'go-soo' in Korean), I'm not forgotten. I actually like cilantro," he joked.
When the MCs noted the absence of his wife's dishes, Go Soo shared, "My wife is great at Korean, Chinese, and Italian cuisine. If I say I want a burger or pizza, she makes it herself. Sometimes the kids and I want to eat out, but since she makes everything, dining out gets postponed," he proudly shared.
