Park Seo-jin of 'Mr. House Husband Season 2' was left in shock after learning about his mother's emergency surgery due to a suspected thyroid cancer.

On the episode aired on the 25th, KBS2's variety show 'Mr. House Husband Season 2' (hereafter referred to as 'Mr. House Husband') featured the story of Park Seo-jin and his sister Hyo-jung urgently heading to their hometown, Samcheonpo, after losing contact with their parents.

Park Seo-jin revealed, “My parents haven't been answering calls for days,” expressing his extreme anxiety over the lack of communication from his parents and brother.

Unable to focus on work, Park Seo-jin and his sister Hyo-jung decided to travel to Samcheonpo.

Upon finally reaching his brother, Park Seo-jin was shocked to hear that their mother had been hospitalized.

It was revealed that their mother, who had previously been suspected of having thyroid cancer, had undergone a biopsy due to a growing lump.

The attending physician informed their mother that general anesthesia would be necessary for the lump removal surgery, and Park Seo-jin, watching from the studio, expressed his concern, saying, “There is also a risk of lymph node metastasis.”

Their mother underwent an emergency surgery to remove the lump, and upon arriving at the hospital, Park Seo-jin couldn't hold back his emotions upon seeing his mother lying in the hospital bed.

In his distress and anxiety, he exclaimed, “Are you going to contact me after you die and are in a coffin?” and “If this continues, let's cut ties. I have no family.”

Park Seo-jin confessed, “Seeing my mom lying there made me feel very frustrated,” while MC Lee Yo-won empathized with the mother's decision to keep the news from her son, considering his career as a singer performing in front of people.
