Actor Ki Tae-young's Family-First Lifestyle: A Glimpse into His Devoted Routine

Actor Ki Tae-young recently revealed on 'Radio Star' that for the past 15 years, he has structured all his plans around his family, avoiding personal engagements after 6 PM, which left many surprised.

The episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' aired on the 22nd, featuring actors Ryu Jin, Ki Tae-young, and broadcasters Lucky and Song Ha-bin in a special titled 'Papa GO! ALL Daddy PROJECT'.

According to Nielsen Korea, 'Radio Star' ranked first in nationwide viewership ratings during its time slot, also securing the top spot among the 20-54 age demographic. The highlight of the episode was Ki Tae-young's story about becoming a 'world dad' at a kids' cafe in Guam, which peaked at a 3.7% viewership rating.

Ki Tae-young shared the story of his first meeting with his wife, Eugene, and the behind-the-scenes of their first on-screen kiss, adding excitement to the show. He recalled meeting Eugene in 2009 during the drama 'Creating Destiny' and having their first kiss during a location shoot in Australia, despite not knowing each other well. He expressed regret that their kiss scene was short after they developed feelings for each other, heating up the studio.

He sincerely conveyed his feelings for his wife, emphasizing the importance of communication and her role as a mother over looks. He explained the misunderstanding from his past comment, "I didn't date her for her looks," and declared, "I would marry Eugene again if I were reborn," calling her "the best woman I could ever meet," showing deep affection.

His meticulously family-oriented lifestyle also drew attention. For 15 years, he has planned everything around his family, avoiding personal engagements after 6 PM, dedicating his evenings solely to his wife and two daughters, Rohee and Lorin, impressing everyone.

Ki Tae-young's personal spending is extremely restrained. He doesn't drink or smoke and finds satisfaction in wearing shirts costing 6,000 or 8,000 won. When the cast expressed surprise at his annual personal spending of 1 to 1.5 million won, he responded, "My happiness comes from my wife and children enjoying what I've achieved," leaving a lasting impression.
