Ryu Hae-jun Shines as Passionate Rookie Detective in 'Scarecrow'
Ryu made a striking impression on viewers as 'Park Dae-ho,' an enthusiastic rookie detective, in the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow,' which premiered on the 20th. The episode featured Dae-ho's first encounter with Kang Tae-joo, played by Park Hae-soo, at the Gangseong Police Station, and their joint investigation of a case.
Dae-ho, embodying the naive and clumsy traits of a rookie, caught the audience's attention. Tae-joo guided him, saying, "Don't go, you have work to do," instructing Dae-ho to stay at the station and wait for crucial evidence. As Tae-joo predicted, another incident occurred during the suspect's on-site verification, and Dae-ho heightened the tension by reporting, "Just as you said, it's the same guy."
Dae-ho continued his passionate investigation, trusting and following Tae-joo. He traveled to gather victims' testimonies and conducted undercover operations to catch the culprit, delivering a gripping sense of immersion.
Ryu Hae-jun infused life into the character of 'Park Dae-ho' with his fresh appearance and energy. He portrayed the character's diverse facets, from pure admiration for senior detective Tae-joo to an unyielding passion for solving cases, with a straightforward performance, raising expectations for his future endeavors. Curiosity grows about Ryu Hae-jun's journey as he evolves alongside his 'passionate rookie' character.
'Scarecrow,' featuring Ryu Hae-jun, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM.
