Why Actress Han Hye-sook Stepped Away from Acting for 16 Years, According to Writer Lim Seong-han
On October 17, Lim appeared via phone on the YouTube channel 'Eom Eun-hyang' live broadcast, where she discussed her ongoing connection with Han Hye-sook, the only actress she maintains a relationship with.
Han Hye-sook last appeared in the 2010 drama 'Jewel Bibimbap' and has since stepped away from the acting scene.
During the broadcast, Lim shared Han's firm stance on her prolonged absence, stating, "She has delivered many great performances and played significant roles. Her mindset is that of a star among stars."
Lim further explained Han's decision to halt her career, saying, "Although she still looks great, she acknowledges that she is no longer in her prime 30s. She prefers to be remembered at her most beautiful and impressive. I completely understand her perspective."
Lim also praised Han's character, describing her as "honest, straightforward, and genuinely cool," and assured fans that Han is currently in good health and doing well.
