Actress Kang So-ra Reveals Her Secrets to Maintaining a 20kg Weight Loss
Kang So-ra appeared as a guest on the 'Ordinary Thursday Night with Jo Hyun-ah' channel on the 16th, where she discussed a wide range of topics, including her married life, diet, and daily routine.
The conversation particularly drew attention when she talked about her body management. Previously, Kang So-ra revealed on her YouTube channel, “During the dramas 'Misaeng,' 'Ugly Alert,' and 'Warm and Cozy,' I weighed 48kg at 168cm.”
She explained, “I think it was possible because the genres didn’t require much physical activity,” adding, “I felt dizzy while walking down the stairs.”
On the show, she emphasized focusing on 'body shape change' rather than just weight, revealing her secret to maintaining the 20kg weight loss.
She also shared specific dietary methods. Kang So-ra explained, “I eat vegetables like rice instead of side dishes,” adding, “I prefer steaming broccoli or cabbage over eating raw vegetables.” This choice helps maintain a feeling of fullness for longer.
She also opened up about the realistic challenges of maintenance. “To maintain, you have to eat like a cow,” she said, highlighting the difficulty of consistent management. She emphasized the importance of sustainable eating habits over extreme restraint.
Kang So-ra also candidly discussed the conditions necessary for weight maintenance. “Management ultimately comes down to money and time,” she said, revealing that she spares no effort in skincare, home care, and fitness, underscoring the need for continuous effort and investment.
