Actress Park Ha-sun Opens Up About Bullying and Stalking Experiences on 'Knowing Bros'
On the episode aired on the 18th, Park appeared alongside fellow actors Jung Bo-seok and Ye Ji-won to promote their film 'First Child'.
During the show, Park Ha-sun revealed that she was a victim of bullying during her school days. Although Kim Hee-chul jokingly asked if she was the one doing the bullying, Park clarified, "I was the victim."
"I was just doing what I was asked, but the students' insults were captured on film," Park recounted. "There were some scary seniors at my all-girls school. They would curse at me on the bus, even opening the windows to shout insults. I had to take taxis despite not having money, which led to more criticism."
In her 20s, Park encountered a stalker. She shared, "A fan asked for my autograph and insisted I write 'I love you'. I obliged, and that was the start of our 'relationship'."
To protect herself, Park avoids posting on social media in real-time, explaining, "If I post about where I am, they come looking for me."
Fellow entertainer Lee Sang-min, who has also experienced stalking, shared, "They would follow me during outdoor shoots. I reported it, but even when caught, the police only issued a deferred prosecution. I eventually moved from a house in Paju to an apartment before getting married."
Meanwhile, Park Ha-sun married actor Ryu Soo-young in 2017, and they have a daughter together.
