Kim Jae-wook Captivates Viewers with Charismatic Role in 'Secret Audit'
On April 14, tvN released stills of Kim Jae-wook, who transforms into 'Jeon Jae-yeol', a third-generation chaebol hiding secret loneliness behind his perfection, ahead of the drama's premiere on April 25.
Directed by Lee Soo-hyun of 'That Guy is a Black Dragon' and written by Yeon Eun-ho of 'One Hit Scandal', with creator Yang Hee-seung, the drama promises high quality. The cast, including Shin Hye-sun, Gong Myung, Kim Jae-wook, and Hong Hwa-yeon, adds to the anticipation.
Kim Jae-wook plays 'Jeon Jae-yeol', the vice chairman of 'Haemu Group', a third-generation chaebol with both talent and character. Despite appearing to have it all, he harbors hidden wounds beneath his glamorous exterior. The drama raises curiosity about Jeon Jae-yeol's true feelings, which he keeps well-hidden, and Kim Jae-wook's portrayal of this complex character is highly anticipated.
Kim Jae-wook shared, "The unique setting of a 'corporate misconduct audit team' was intriguing. The script was fast-paced and easy to read, with various episodes unfolding in each episode. The realistic events and relatable characters made it highly immersive, and the growing closeness between the two protagonists was truly captivating."
Regarding his character 'Jeon Jae-yeol', he added, "He is a person with a heavy responsibility to lead the company. He must always appear composed and leader-like, hiding the sharpness from fierce competition for corporate succession, while being a lonely person with significant deficiencies and regrets about past choices."
'Secret Audit' premieres on April 25 at 9:10 PM.
