KCM's Family Reunites for First Family Photo in 15 Years on 'The Return of Superman'

KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' recently featured a heartwarming reunion of KCM's family. The episode showcased KCM's wife, their second daughter Seoyeon, and third son Haon, with the first appearance of their eldest daughter Suyeon, capturing viewers' attention. The family took their first family photo in 15 years.

The episode, which aired on the 15th, was the 617th installment of 'The Return of Superman' (directed by Kim Young-min), titled 'Our Unforgettable Day,' with hosts Kim Jong-min and Lala.

KCM expressed his desire to create ordinary memories with his family, stating, “I wanted to start with the simple memories that everyone has.” He shared his feelings of regret and gratitude towards Suyeon, apologizing for missing important events like her school entrance and graduation ceremonies over the past 15 years. KCM emotionally conveyed, “I wonder how hard it must have been for Suyeon. If I had to give my heart to either my wife or my eldest daughter, I would give it to my child. I want to give her everything I have.”

Suyeon, who has grown significantly, moved her parents with her presence. She expressed joy in being able to see a family photo every day, cherishing the memories they created together. When Suyeon mentioned her desire to travel abroad with her father, KCM was touched, saying, “I was moved when she said she wanted to travel with me. When did she grow up so much?” he remarked, with tears in his eyes.

Second daughter Seoyeon showcased her charm in front of the camera, striking poses like the 'V' sign and hand hearts, reminiscent of an idol, leaving everyone in awe. The youngest, Haon, also charmed viewers with his adorable expressions, winning the hearts of online aunts and uncles. After the family photo session, KCM shared, “I feel full even without eating. It's a feeling I've never experienced before,” reflecting on the special moment.

'The Return of Superman' airs every Wednesday at 8:30 PM.
