Discovering the Hidden Charms of Seoul's Villas on MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes'
The episode features 'real estate expert' comedian Yang Se-hyung and 'real estate novice' crossover group Forestella's Cho Min-kyu and Go Woo-rim. The trio explores various properties to uncover the true allure of 'villas' in Seoul, often overshadowed by the city's reputation as an 'apartment republic.' While 'villa' is not an official term in architectural records, it commonly refers to multi-family, multi-unit, and row houses. Through this exploration, they aim to present unique and diverse housing options.
The trio first visits a multi-family house in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu. Cho Min-kyu shares anecdotes from his school days, mentioning that he attended Seoul Arts High School nearby, where he mingled with the children of affluent families, including grandchildren of famous groups. He surprises everyone by revealing he was once ranked third among the 'Top 5 Wealthiest Students' at school, sharing a story of how he became the subject of a false rumor.
The featured house boasts a 'double mountain view' of Bukhansan and Bugaksan, capturing attention with its stunning natural scenery beyond the balcony. As they admire the view, Cho Min-kyu and Go Woo-rim reminisce about their intense entrance exam experiences and perform audition songs on the spot. Not to be outdone, Yang Se-hyung recreates 'O Sole Mio,' which he practiced to win over a co-star's heart in the MBC drama 'A Thousand Kisses,' further enlivening the atmosphere.
The 'Holmes' Seoul Villa Special airs on Thursday, the 16th, at 10 PM.
