Yoo Yeon-seok captivates audiences in 'Shin & Law Office' by portraying a lawyer who goes to great lengths to resolve the grievances of the deceased, blending humor and emotion. The show hit its highest rating of 10.0% during its 6th episode on September 28, but ratings dipped to 6% with the premiere of '21st Century Grand Lady' starring IU and Byun Woo-seok on MBC. The November 11 episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin & Law Office' (directed by Shin Jung-hoon, written by Kim Ga-young & Kang Chul-kyu, produced by Studio S & Mongjakso) featured a dramatic ending where Shin Yi-rang (Yoo Yeon-seok) gets drenched in the courtroom, sparking widespread discussion.

Shin Yi-rang's life is the epitome of an 'extreme job.' As a 'ghost-specialist lawyer,' he willingly offers his body to the spirits. In the 10th episode, he faced a crisis when a spirit of a deceased shoemaker, Kang Dong-sik (Lee Deok-hwa), who suffered from dementia, unexpectedly possessed him in court while he was trying to uncover the truth behind a will. Despite his efforts to resist, he ended up shouting, "I wrote the will!" at the judge, causing chaos in the courtroom.

This unexpected outburst in the sacred courtroom could have ended his career. However, his partner Han Na-hyun (Lee Som) and brother-in-law Yoon Bong-soo (Jeon Seok-ho) came to his rescue. Han Na-hyun quickly covered his mouth and requested a recess, while Yoon Bong-soo splashed water on him, successfully breaking the possession. Shin Yi-rang's drenched and bewildered state evoked laughter, highlighting his challenging fate and the crucial support from Lee Som and Jeon Seok-ho.

Shin Yi-rang's sacrifices are not new. Previously, he endured physical discomfort by taking allergy medication to fulfill the wish of Han Na-hyun's deceased sister, Han So-hyun (Hwang Bo-reum-byeol), who longed for her mother's kimchi stew. His dedication to prioritizing the wishes of the deceased over his own physical pain or social standing inspired Han Na-hyun to vow to assist him in his solitary battle.

The production team stated, "Shin Yi-rang is a character who, despite his struggles, connects the living and the dead with warmth. Han Na-hyun and Yoon Bong-soo have become an inseparable team with him. Look forward to their ingenious strategies to overturn the trial's impending loss and the revelation of new truths in this week's episodes."

'Shin & Law Office' airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
