Shocking Revelation: Babysitter Exploits Child for Profit in 'Secrets of Detectives'

The latest episode of Channel A's 'Secrets of Detectives' unveiled a disturbing case where a babysitter, involved in an affair with her employer's ex-husband, exploited a 2-year-old child for financial gain.

On the episode aired on the 13th, a female client approached the detective team, expressing concerns that her ex-husband was unreachable during scheduled visitations with their child. She suspected he was seeing another woman with their child.

The client, a pharmaceutical researcher, had hired a live-in babysitter when she was scouted to a different region, leaving her to live apart from her husband during the week. She later discovered her husband had accrued massive gambling debts, leading to their divorce. The babysitter moved with her to the new location, continuing to care for the child.

The investigation revealed that the woman her ex-husband was seeing was indeed the babysitter. They had been in a relationship even before the divorce. Shockingly, the babysitter was using the client's child as her own on social media to gain sponsorships and sales, with the ex-husband complicit in the scheme, hoping to settle his gambling debts. Defconn, a member of the detective team, insisted that the police should be involved, citing child abuse. Comedian Lee Eun-hyung expressed her outrage, stating she would be furious if she witnessed such a scene.

The babysitter maintained a close relationship with the client, attempting to seize custody of the child by exploiting her vulnerabilities. Having experienced two miscarriages, the babysitter's obsession with the child intensified, claiming, "This child is now my son," displaying a distorted sense of motherhood. Defconn remarked that the case was akin to a terrifying horror movie.

Guest detective '20-month-old Hyunjo's mom' Lee Eun-hyung showcased her sharp instincts, accurately predicting that the babysitter might have paid off the husband's gambling debts and was deluded into believing the child was hers. Her insightful deductions impressed the team.
