YouTuber Jimovie Reveals Lavish Lifestyle and Unique Company Benefits on 'The Manager'
During the show, Jimovie shared, "I never thought about revealing my face since I only use my voice for reviews. This is my first appearance on a variety show."
Now a successful movie YouTuber earning millions monthly, Jimovie makes four times the salary of a banker. He explained, "It's 100% performance-based, so I earn more when I upload more videos and less when I don't. It's not guaranteed to always earn a lot."
Recently, Jimovie became neighbors with GD and BTS, and regarding the article titled 'Nahyeongap, the highest-priced leaseholder at 7.7 billion won,' he commented, "There's only one person with my name in the country. Once the article was out, it spread quickly," adding, "Of course, I took out a loan, and since I stay home all day, I spent all the money."
Jimovie's manager humorously remarked, "I felt betrayed when I first saw his face because he's so handsome." Jimovie smiled, saying, "I've often been told I resemble Girls' Generation's Seohyun."
Jimovie explained his work process: "After feeling the emotion of the work, I compose the editing and write the narration script. Sometimes, I work overnight for up to 35 hours. A 20-minute video requires 30-40 hours of work, and I produce up to 20 videos a month."
Meanwhile, Jimovie's manager highlighted the unique company benefits: "We work in an office without the boss present, which is a perk in itself. I've received a performance bonus of 10 million won in a month and a 50 million won interest-free loan for moving, on the condition of not quitting. There's also an editing technique folder for integration with Jimovie."
