Super Junior's Heechul Takes the Wheel After 20 Years on 'My Little Old Boy'

Super Junior member Kim Heechul, 44, is set to drive for the first time in 20 years on the upcoming episode of SBS's 'My Little Old Boy'. Previously, Heechul revealed on the show that he had received a disability rating after a severe car accident.

In the episode airing on the 12th, Heechul will be seen taking driving lessons from Tak Jae-hoon and Heo Kyung-hwan, who step in as his instructors. During a recent recording, Heechul confessed that he has had a dormant driver's license for nearly two decades and even sold his car. His decision to take driving lessons again has piqued the interest of the studio.

Tak Jae-hoon and Heo Kyung-hwan express their concerns, asking Heechul if he still has his driver's license. Heechul, who has rarely driven since his accident, reveals a surprising reason for his decision to get back behind the wheel after 20 years, leaving his mother in shock.

The instructors prepare a special driving course for Heechul, but he struggles with the modern car systems that have changed significantly over the years. His quirky knowledge and driving skills leave Tak Jae-hoon and Heo Kyung-hwan clinging to their seatbelts, eventually declaring they might have to give up on the lessons. Shin Dong-yup humorously adds, "I hope I never have to ride in a car driven by Heechul," bringing laughter to the studio.
