New Reality Show 'SeokSamPlay Season 1' Promises Laughter and History at Namhansanseong
Set to premiere on November 11, TV CHOSUN's new variety show 'SeokSamPlay Season 1' is a mission-based travel reality show where the cast must explore 10 cities with a budget of just 1 million won. The 'SeokSam Family,' consisting of Ji Suk-jin, Jeon So-min, Lee Sang-yeob, and Lee Mi-joo, will travel across South Korea, showcasing hidden beauty and offering healing experiences.
However, the warmth is short-lived as Lee Sang-yeob jokingly blocks Ji Suk-jin at the palace entrance, saying, "This is where the king enters," sparking a humorous 'ancestry revelation' scene. As members boast about their famous ancestors, Lee Mi-joo reveals her noble Jeonju Lee lineage, only for another member to shockingly confess, "From China," leaving everyone in surprise. The mystery of which member has lost their Korean identity at Namhansanseong heightens anticipation for the broadcast.
Jeon So-min's 'Ji Suk-jin sniper' instincts also shine. When Lee Mi-joo attempts to buy four adult tickets at the ticket booth, Jeon So-min quickly quips, "One senior," targeting Ji Suk-jin with her humor. She further teases him, saying, "In five years, you'll ride the subway for free. Why drive? Sell your car!" leaving Ji Suk-jin in stitches. As Ji Suk-jin takes drastic measures, viewers are eager to see if the 'rival duo' can complete their journey without incident.
The production team stated, "The chaotic historical exploration of the 'SeokSam Family' at the meaningful Namhansanseong in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, will bring great laughter in every scene. The constant bickering and chemistry among the members in the beautiful scenery will showcase the unique charm of 'SeokSamPlay,' so please look forward to it."
'SeokSamPlay Season 1' premieres on November 11 at 7:50 PM on TV CHOSUN.
