Singer and actor Rain, also known as Jung Ji-hoon, has spoken out about the criticism of his acting.

Recently, at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, Rain discussed his role in the Netflix series 'Bloodhounds 2'.

The second season of 'Bloodhounds' follows 'Gun-woo' (played by Woo Do-hwan) and 'Woo-jin' (played by Lee Sang-yi) as they take on a global illegal boxing league after defeating a group of ruthless loan sharks. Rain plays the villain 'Baek Jeong', who opposes Gun-woo and Woo-jin.

Some viewers have criticized Rain's performance. In response, Rain stated, "These days, evaluations are often made through shorts or brief clips. Watching the entire work might change the perception." He added, "If viewers still feel dissatisfied after watching, then it's an area where I need to work harder. It's a matter of personal taste," he accepted calmly.

Rain continued, "I have many concerns, but I am earnest in everything I do. I understand that I must bear the responsibility for my actions and receive the corresponding rewards. I have learned to approach my work with sincerity and do not want to show a lazy side." He further expressed, "Sometimes people ask, 'Why is he always so intense?' But if I become complacent, people might wonder, 'What's wrong with him?' Among many actors and singers, I believe I must carry this character to the end."

Finally, Rain humbly remarked, "People often ask why I'm always so driven, but in reality, there's no intensity. I'm just doing my best in my position."
