Bold Moves in 'I Am SOLO: Love Continues' as Contestant Engages in Flirty Interaction

In the latest episode of SBS Plus and ENA's reality show 'I Am SOLO: Love Continues,' contestant Young-ja from the 25th season made a bold move by engaging in flirty interactions with Young-sik from the 20th season.

The episode, which aired on the 9th, showcased the emotional highs and lows as 10 single men and women participated in their second date selection. The selection process involved simultaneous choices, with the women deciding first, followed by the men in the evening. In a surprising twist, Sun-ja from the 17th season chose Young-chul from the 27th season over Young-sik, explaining, "I wanted to avoid a group date, so I chose Young-chul." Young-chul expressed his delight, saying, "I've been solo for a while, so it's nice to be chosen for the first time."

Meanwhile, Young-sik, who had hoped to date Sun-ja from the 17th season, was left disappointed. Sun-ja from the 24th season and Young-ja from the 25th season both chose Young-ho from the 18th season, while Young-ja from the 25th season opted for Young-sik, securing a one-on-one date. Lastly, Hyun-sook from the 27th season chose Sang-chul from the 13th season, leaving Young-chul from the 15th season to dine alone once again.

During their date, Young-sik drove Young-ja to a restaurant, where he playfully brushed off dust from her face, causing Young-ja to freeze momentarily. The show's hosts, Defconn, Kyungri, and Yoon Bomi, reacted with excitement, exclaiming, "It's getting intense!" The pair continued their playful banter at the restaurant, with Young-ja flashing her charming smile.

As the date progressed, Young-sik suggested, "Let's go for a beer later." Young-ja teased, "After you drink with that other girl?" and complimented him, saying, "Why is your nose so high?" She even touched his arm, commenting on his youthful face and hairy arms.

Young-sik blushed at Young-ja's boldness and later admitted in an interview, "I didn't know how to react. I wasn't entirely against it, but it was awkward to say 'stop.' I was flustered by the unexpected physical contact." As the meal ended, Young-ja attempted to brush dust off her clothes, prompting Young-sik to ask, "Do you have someone to impress?" to which Young-ja replied, "You," leaving Young-sik thrilled.

The hosts, Defconn, Kyungri, and Yoon Bomi, observed, "They're really having fun," and dubbed it the top dopamine moment of the show. The pair continued their flirtation on the ride back to their accommodation, linking arms and exchanging sweet glances.

After the date, Young-ja confessed to the production team, "I really felt like we were in a budding romance. I want to talk more with Young-sik." In the preview for the next episode, she declared to Sun-ja from the 17th season, "I've decided on Young-sik," causing tension as Sun-ja's expression turned serious. The unfolding love quadrangle, involving Young-chul from the 27th season, leaves viewers eager to see how the drama will unfold.
